Terms of Service

1. Service Agreement
By booking a service with LaundroMum, you agree to these Terms of Service. We provide mobile laundry pickup, washing, drying, folding, and delivery services within our defined service areas in Canberra and Queanbeyan.
2. Pickup and Delivery
Customers must ensure laundry is ready at the scheduled time. If a pickup or delivery is failed due to customer absence or lack of access, a re-scheduling fee may apply. We will leave laundry in a designated safe spot if requested, but take no responsibility for items once delivered to said spot.
3. Item Care and Liability
While we handle all garments with professional care, we follow general "wash and dry" procedures. You are responsible for:
- Checking pockets for pens, money, or sharp objects. We are not liable for damage caused by items left in pockets.
- Identifying specific delicate items.
- Ensuring items are suitable for standard machine washing and tumble drying.
Under the Australian Consumer Law, we are liable for loss or damage caused by our negligence, but we are not liable for damage resulting from normal wear and tear or manufacturing defects that become apparent during the cleaning process.
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices are in AUD. Payment is required at the time of booking. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days' notice.
5. Refunds
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If you are unsatisfied with a service, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory and New South Wales (as applicable to Queanbeyan).
